I'm Susan Lee, lead designer and chief visionary at Starla Marz Designs. My work bridges ancient relics and natural gemstones with modern design — pieces meant to be worn with intention and meaning, not just admiration.

I believe beauty is an inner feeling as much as an outer expression, and every piece I create is meant to remind you of that.

My brand is built on four values: Beauty, Freedom, Authenticity, and Connection — and you'll feel all four when you wear one of my designs.

My love for jewelry design began the first time I held an ancient Roman bead — irregular, imperfect, thousands of years old. I was obsessed with the challenge of turning that raw chaos into something wearable, something that honored history while living in the modern world. When a friend saw what I'd made and said “I want exactly that”, she became my first customer, and Starla Marz Designs was born.

I've spent my life resisting the mold — corporate boxes, sameness, playing small — and choosing freedom and authentic self-expression instead.

My designs are inspired by nature, travel, ancient cultures, and spiritual traditions from around the world, and every piece carries that same inspiration: permission to be fully, unapologetically yourself.
